As the Building Inspector to the town of Carver for the past
six (6) plus years, I have observed and reviewed the work
done by Mr. Silva Jr. on many occasions.

I dont freely give recommendations regarding contractors, but I find Mr. Silva Jr. to be an exception to my personnel policy.

Whether you are a homeowner or a governmental official, I have always found Mr. Silva Jr. to be very professional in his dealings with me and my office over the years. Regarding his work, I had always found his framing very well constructed and his finish work something to be pleased with in regards to its installation and final appearance.

If a code question would arise, he would be open to reviewing the appropriate section(s) of the building code with me and address the issue in a professional manner if it did not favor his view.

In all, this is a person I find to be a very good contractor and a real professional in a field that is a rarity to find.

After settling with the insurance company, we hired an architect to design a home that would reflect our family's personality and lifestyle. We were most pleased when we moved into the house. . . . it was everything we had dreamed.
